Vancouver Bays and Harbours Project

The Vancouver Bays and Harbours curriculum development project was sponsored by the Pacific Circle Consortium. This resource emphasizes how people interact with each other and the natural environment in the Port of Vancouver, and the importance of the concepts of interdependence, cultural and economic diversity, ecology, planning, and change. It is intended for students in any community who wish to learn more about the Pacific Rim nations. It's Everybody's Port
This collection of delightful stories will help children understand the Port of Vancouver. Some traditional legends of the Coast Salish, the first inhabitants of the area, are told-shared with the authors by Leonard George of the Coast Salish people. Vancouver Bays and Harbours Teachers' Guide
